The Hume Men’s Shed Sunbury is a self-sustaining community initiative where men can come together to create, connect, and converse.
We welcome all men over 18, regardless of experience – if you are interested in making things, whether you’re new to wood or metalworking or a seasoned pro it doesn’t matter if you haven’t handled tools before, don’t worry, our members are happy to share their skills.
If you have some expertise of your own, come and share your knowledge and skills with us!
Open Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 158-160 Evans Street.
What do we do and When?
The shed is well stocked, operational and is constantly under improvement as new ideas are implemented. It is our aim to have a safe, comfortable, innovative shed which churns out Community projects, serves our members well in making projects or fixing items from hobbies and homes.
Opening hours are:-
Monday, Tuesday on demand for Training and Demos., Wednesday and; Friday 8.00 am till 12.00 pm
Lunch most Fridays.
Woodwork and metal tools and machinery – gardening – toys – hobbies – home projects – computers – tea and coffee facilities – learn and teach..informative talks..impart your knowledge …make friends..advice on most tasks and if we don’t know we will find out … ask for help…we are here for you….you are here for us.
Need something fixed?
Maybe the boys at Sunbury Men’s Shed can help. If you can fit it in your car and bring along to 158 Evans Street on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday morning maybe we can fix it for you for a small price. It’s better than throwing the item away! We are always there to help if we can.
